Trail Work

Trail work is one of the most important things we do as a club.  The work put in by volunteers before the season opens getting our trails ready directly relates to everyone’s ability to enjoy our amazing trails during the season.

Each fall, the club holds seven work days to do trail cleanup.  A typical trail work day begins at 9am where we break into teams and decide which portions of the trails are getting worked on.  Teams depart and remove downed trees, cut back brush, update signage, and remove impediments on the trail.  Work usually lasts for about 3 hours and is followed by lunch provided by the club.

Trail work days are a great way to volunteer your time and give back to the club.  They are also a great way to meet other club members and make new friends.

report Work Time

On occasion, we have volunteers that work on our trails outside of our scheduled work days.  It is very important that we report ALL time spent on trail work as we are reimbursed by the state for the time we put in.  If you have spent time working on our trails outside of a scheduled work day, please use the form below to report your time.
